Check out some of the projects LOV has worked on around the community!
We are Lyons Volunteers
The Lyons Volunteers (LOV) is a nonprofit that was established following the 2013 Colorado floods. Volunteers traveled from around the country to tirelessly help with Lyons' recovery efforts.
Today, more than two years after the flood, LOV continues to hold volunteer days on Tuesdays and Saturdays (weather permitting), to help with projects and tasks from around the community.
LOV welcomes anyone to volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering, fill out a new volunteer form, and sign-up for LOV's email listserv, for the week's deployments! All volunteers are provided lunch volunteers on work days, to be used at nearly any restaurant in town.
New Deployment Days
We're moving LoV deployments from Wednesdays to Tuesdays! Saturday deployments will stay the same.
Meet at the LoV shed (across from the recycle bins on Railroad Ave) at 9 a.m. on deployment days. Lunch on us.
All our welcome to join us on Tuesdays and Saturdays, as we help our neighbors and community wherever we can.
